Spanish Language Course
Spanish a language of romance is one of the modern
spoken forms of Latin and is spoken in the larger part of the Iberian or
westerly peninsula of Europe. While Spanish is spoken in Spain. It is also
the official language of Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica,
Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Equatorial Guinea,
Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and
Venezuela. It is also widely spoken in several other nations including
Canada, Morocco, the Philippines, and the United States. Spanish is the
second dominant language.
World Language Lab teaches language, culture, art and literature. Spanish
language students get excellent training along with authentic Spanish
multimedia support. Students also have the opportunity to intern with
Spanish agencies for study in Spain and as preparation for their future.

Level I - Basic for beginners.
Course structure:
Here basic fundamental vocabulary, structure of Spanish, the sound system
are taught.
Understanding, writing, reading and speaking, grammar, simple conversation,
business letters, essays, answering questions on comprehension of simple
texts,
stimulated dialogues and role-playing form our syllabus. Besides knowledge
of
Spanish culture is also imparted.
On course completion the student will be able to:
Comprehend the spoken language from vocabulary in text.
Read and understand the language from material of this level.
Recognize correct sound patterns.
Write exercises on correcting grammatical items studied.
Know the cultural elements of Spanish societies.
Be able to carry on a conversation within the framework of the vocabulary
studied.
Duration: Two and half months.
Level II - Intermediate
Course eligibility : Knowledge of Spanish level -1
Course structure: Covering the intermediate level of conversations,
discussions, essays, culture of the country, business and life science. This
course helps to improve their fluency and speech.
On course completion one will be confident to:
Use and understand Spanish in the text.
Write using a wide vocabulary.
Read with improved ability.
Demonstrate a developing empathy for the Spanish culture.
Form questions and answers based on familiar material.
Carry on an extended conversation using vocabulary studied.
Duration: Two and half months.
Level III - Advanced
Course eligibility: Knowledge of Spanish
Intermediate
Course structure: This level covers written comprehensions and
expressions in a particular area of studies besides oral communication. On
completion the students will be able to teach, translate and peruse higher
studies in Spain. The third level of Spanish gives practice in the basic
skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. With scope to expand
individual interests in reading materials and cultural items. Short stories,
plays, essays, poetry and biographies with a wide vocabulary form part of
the training. Spanish is used extensively in class during discussions and
role-playing.
On Course completion one will be confident to:
Understand and use the language and vocabulary in the text.
Speak, read and write with improved ability and expanded vocabulary.
Understand and be understood by a native speaker.
Translate from English to Spanish and demonstrate grammatical skills.
Acquire a greater understanding of the Spanish culture.
Formulate questions and answers based on unfamiliar material.
Engage in special Projects: Workbook, Project work and library research.
Duration: Two months.
After the completion of each level and attending the test, the students get
a certificate from World Language Lab.
